Multi-Racial Food Festival (16/5/2010)

Sizzling ‘sisig’ from Philippines, mouth-watering ‘mohinga’ from Myanmar, tantalising ‘tom yum’ soup from Thailand – these were some of the yummies dished out during the Multi-Racial Food Festival held at Block 223A last Sunday.

Residents looking forward to the event started arriving as early as 1.45pm. It doesn’t take long before all the seats were taken up.

The karaoke session started shortly and we have residents going up the stage to entertain us. Oh yes! We had songs from different countries too!

Meanwhile, volunteers were seen busy preparing and arranging the food. Awww … when can we start sampling the food???
